    Christmas List

    I met this girl.
    This incredible girl.
    From the southern south.
    And against all odds I fell in love with her.
    And her with me.
    She took a risk and moved to the big city up north.
    Closer to me.
    Visits became more frequent.
    And I fell in love with her more and more each time.
    Her lips.
    Her laugh.
    Her presence.
    Timelines were made.
    Names picked out.
    Now a move back south is on the table.
    And all I want for Christmas is for her to stay…
